For the purpose of this contract Teri Murphy or Rachael Murphy shall be referred to as Seller. And the above mentioned name will be referred to as the Buyer.
The Buyer has 72 hours to take said puppy/dog to the Veterinarian for a complete health evaluation. If said puppy/ dog is found to be unhealthy, the buyer will return said puppy/dog for a full refund. If Buyer does not do so, then this contract is fully binding.
At the time of this contract, the said puppy/dog was evaluated to have breeding/show potential ( if under the age of 6mos) or to be of breeding/ show quality ( if over the age of 6 months ) This puppy / dog was born on _____________and is under _______ or over _________ 6 months of age.
This means that said puppy/ dog is capable of attaining his/her AKC or UKC Championship. This contract does not state that said puppy/dog will attain his/her AKC or UKC Championship. ( AKC for the Chinese Crested and UKC for the American Hairless Terrier/Rat Terrier ), but variables such as proper grooming and conditioning, feeding, and training are the sole responsibilities of _____________________________________________________. Should ____________________________________________not meet his / her responsibilities, this contract becomes null and void except for monies owed the seller , if any are due. Seller guarantees said puppy/dog to be free from genetic disorders that will render said puppy / dog unsuitable for breeding. Including, but not limited to: Legg-Calves Perthes disease, Patellar Luxation greater than grade 1 in one knee, Deafness, Juvenile cataracts, Glaucoma, Siezure disorder, Generalized Demodectic mange, Life-Threatening Immune disorders. It is understood that the American Hairless Terrier/ Rat Terrier-hairless variety, is a relatively new breed and therefore the conformation status of said puppy /dog may not be yet of the quality desired, but if all clearances are met at the time of breeding, such as Patellas, OFA certified to be clear, Hips X-rayed clear for Legg-Calves Perthes and eyes CERF'd clear, hearing BAER tested normal, then said puppy /dog is indeed of breeding quality and Seller will have met the terms of this contract for providing a breeding/ show quality dog to Seller. If any genetic disorders are diagnosed and confirmed by 2 practicing Veterinarians and written proof given Seller, then Seller will replace said puppy/dog with one of equal value when one is available. Monies will not be refunded.

If Buyer at any time uses said puppy/ dog for breeding or said puppy / dog attains it's AKC or UKC Championship it will be understood that Seller has fulfilled any and all obligations to Buyer. Agreed: Seller:__________________Buyer: _________________
It is agreed by Both parties that any puppies resulting from this puppy/ dog sold as pets will be sold/given away on a spay/neuter agreement. Agreed: Seller: ______________ Buyer: _________________
It is also agreed by Both parties that when this puppy/dog reaches breeding age it will be bred only to another dog that is also free from known genetic defects. Agree: Seller:________________ Buyer: ________________
It is also agreed that at ANY TIME during the life of this puppy/dog , the Buyer can not keep said puppy/ dog, no matter what that reason is, said puppy /dog is to be returned to Seller at Buyers expense. Unless otherwise agreed upon by Both parties at that time. If for whatever reason , an agreement can not be made, then Buyer will return said puppy/dog as is agreed upon herein. It is also agreed that AT NO TIME may said puppy/dog or any of its progeny be sold or given to any pet shop, wholesale outlet, broker or persons for the sole purpose of breeding for sale ( commonly referred to as puppy mills ). It is agreed by both Seller and Buyer that should this occur, $5000.00 ( five thousand dollars ) will be owed to the Seller for breach of contract. At NO time may ornamental tattooing be done to this dog/puppy, other than for means of identification such as done with tattoo-a-pet. At NO time may the dogs name be tattooed on the body of the dog/puppy or any other tattoo for ornamental reasons. If ornamental tattooing is done to this animal the buyer will owe the seller $5000 ( five thousand dollars) for breach of contract. Agreed: Buyer................... Seller:....................

The conditions of this contract must be complied with according to the laws of the State of North Carolina, Mecklenburg County.
